This is the same figurines and "set" that was used when this scene was filmed and made.Look at the detail in the background, the clock, lights. Every time the teacher talked his head had to be removed, his vest made into a different position and his head then back on, to give the fill effect of the clothing crinkles. Though the movie is filmed in black and white Burton made sure the figures were created in colour to give the different tones and shadows of grey
