Victor's mom was the only character how changed shoes and when she did they had to take her legs off and put in new ones with the different shoes. Even the clothing itself has immense detail and tough the movie is filmed in black and white Burton made sure the figures, set and clothing were created in colour to give the different tones and shadows of grey.
